Prima’s NextGen program offers hands-on internships in production, marketing, and project management, providing young people with practical skills that apply both within and outside of the arts. Through mentorship and partnerships with local professionals, students gain valuable industry connections and transferable skills, preparing them for success in a wide range of careers.
Creative Current:
Arts Access Unleashed
Creative Current is a transformative initiative designed to break down financial, logistical, and systemic barriers that keep people from experiencing the joy, wonder, and connection that the arts inspire. Recognized and studied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an innovative model, this program partners with community organizations to serve underserved rural and urban youth, low-income families, resettled refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those with physical or mental disabilities.
Participants gain access to performance tickets, post-show Q&A sessions with creative leaders, and future opportunities such as community engagement workshops and workforce training in hospitality and venue preparation.
A cornerstone of this initiative is The GreatList, a simple, dignified solution that breaks financial barriers and ensures that anyone can access subsidized tickets discreetly via text message—because everyone deserves creative inspiration.
