Celebrating Success: A Recap of "Rated P for Parenthood"

Dear Prima Theatre Supporters,

As the production of "Rated P for Parenthood" concluded its run of performances last week, I’m thrilled to share that this show was a successful conclusion to the 2023-2024 Season.

Closing it out with laughter, "Rated P for Parenthood" proved to be a fan favorite, captivating audiences with its humor and touching moments. To me, it felt like a 90s sitcom—and that bit of retro flavor was a dose of good medicine for the soul.

One remarkable testament to its popularity was a patron who attended not once, but twice, bringing friends along for the second round and ultimately becoming a new subscriber. Huzzah! Audience members didn't just leave with smiles on their faces; many shared that they laughed until they cried, both from the hilarity of the show and the bittersweet nostalgia of reflecting on their own parenting journeys. Such enthusiasm from audiences reaffirms the power of invigorating experiences to help us all live our most bold and beautiful lives.

The cast and crew of this production loved their time in Lancaster. One cast member remarked that the camaraderie and support within the Prima team and patrons they met made it “the most caring environment I’ve ever experienced — and I’ve been at theaters across the nation.” This spirit of care and collaboration contributed to the magic witnessed on stage each night.

We are overjoyed to announce that this season was Prima’s most attended yet — exceeding attendance goals and reaffirming the unwavering support of a dedicated community. None of this would have been possible without the generosity and encouragement of supporters like you.
